At Café Coffee Day, we take pride in our 130 year old coffee growing heritage that began in the verdant soil of Chickmagalur where over 10,000 acres of our coffee plantations lie. It has indeed been an eventful journey led by Mr.V.G Siddhartha, Chairman CCD when he initiated his business interests in coffee by incorporating ABCTCL in the year 1994. From Exports to commodity trading and building a brand, Coffee Day entered with ‘Fresh n Ground’ and subsequently went up the value chain thereby revolutionizing the metropolis with Cafes under the brand Café Coffee Day.
ABCTCL today is one of Asia’s top 500 companies and soon aims to be among the top 3 coffee retailing companies in the world. We are currently 873 cafes in India, Pakistan & Austria (Vienna). ABCTCL also has an ambitious growth plan of opening 1000 cafes by 2010 making its presence across 135 Indian cities also establishing 50 cafes in 10 foreign countries. Our customers have given us the thumbs up for our quality standards in Pakistan and Austria and that motivated us to go to 10 countries where plans are currently being rolled out.

We have a several options for professionals with relevant experience in operations management at café, area, city and regional level. We require highly motivated individuals who can ensure the highest level of customer experience at our cafes by ensuring best quality of product and service at all times, Sales building through retaining loyal customers, new product introduction, motivating teams, stock management and an eye for detail to manage inventory & hygienic environment.

Regional Manager/Asst. regional Manager/ City Manager:
Qualifications:
• HM/Graduate/MBA
• 6 to 12 years of retail experience / related industry
Responsibilities:
• Ensure profitbility and sales at the region
• Budgeting & sales forecasting
• Oversee training & development activities
• Attrition & retention of staff
• Ensure smooth support functions and further integration with operations team

Salary Range: Rs.4 lakh – 8 lakh + Incentives
Area Manager
• BHM graduate
• 4 to 6 years experience as a Sr. Captain/ Restaurant/ F&B / Retail Store Manager
Responsibilities:
• Supervision of a cluster of 5 – 7 Cafes
• Analyzing daily sales report
• Appraisal of sub ordinates
• Stock auditing & wastage controls
• Manpower planning & translating requirements to HR
• Handling transfers & takeovers
• Ensuring maintenance standardsB
• Achieve set goals for the area.,
Salary Range: 2.5 lakh – 4 lakh plus annual incentives
Café Manager/Assistant Café Manager
• BHM graduate
• 1.5 – 5 years experience
A café is a reflection of its owner in all possible senses. It is for this reason that the position of a Café Manager is extremely critical. As a café manager you would be solely accountable for the performance of your overall outlet operation. The responsibilities of a manager include

Hotel Management Graduates
a) Retail Management Trainee Program
Café Coffee day recruits from the leading Hotel Management institutes across the country for the Retail Management Trainee program, which is a 1-year comprehensive and well-thought out training program aiming at developing individuals to grow into multi-skilled professionals in the F&B Retail Industry.
On successful completion of the training period, you will get confirmed into positions of responsibility for a city or a region in an area of specialization. This is compounded with very competitive salaries and an excellent growth trajectory.
The program is characteristic of exposure to a variety of training programs: Train the trainer, Brew Master Training & MAST Customer interaction, to help develop your skills and competencies. Here YOU will have a chance to train the trainer on various Standard Operating Procedures and soft skills like communication skills, time management, quality management, team skills, and leadership skills.
b) Operations Trainee Program
Our campus visits to the top Hotel management institutes across the country every year contribute to our pool of Operation Trainees. Operations Trainee program, which is an intensive fast track program is an opportunity to move a step higher in your career ladder and become an Assistant Café Manager in a short span of time. The training involves knowing the all embracing network of any Café Operations from Customer Service, Opening and Closing Café Duties, Cashiering to Cold Coffee Production / Food Service.
c) 6 Months Industrial Training
Students pursuing their BHM can now have an invaluable chance to do your 6 month’s Industrial training with us in all areas of Hospitality Operations.
